The Maryland Information Literacy Exchange (MILEX) is a collaborative of Maryland academic librarians to promote information literacy in higher education. MILEX members work together to develop better pedagogical, promotional and organizational models and materials for Maryland librarians and faculty interested in information literacy.

MILEX is open to any academic librarian, at any Maryland institution, who is interested in the area of information literacy. We welcome ideas for collaborative efforts to develop information literate students at all levels on our individual campuses.
